General temperatmental starter

Hi

My daughter bought a 1600 petrol weekender a few weeks back and has had big problems with it. Main one now is that she never knows if it's going to run or not. When it's in the mood it goes fine. But that's not very often. The car starts but won't keep running especially when the engine's hot. I've had it on a diagnostic tester and had new crank, sensor, plugs, leads & coil fitted, carburetoor control sensors & new battery. The tripometer shows an error sometimes with "CLI" Running out of ideas now. Any advice please??????

CLI is a climate control message, it should give you the error code too. usually the fault is the temperature sensor in the wing mirror (pass side).

normally i would suggest replacing crank sensor, but you've done that, so lambda is next thing to try.
