TD100 SX - smoking problems

Are there td100 owners with info or tips about the good and bad qualities of this specific model ?
My engine seems to 'smoke' more than the average turbodiesel, however the FIAT-dealer tells me it is not of any harm. Anyone with experience on this field ? furthermore any info on the TD100 is more than welcome !

I recently bought a bravo td 100 sx, and i also have the same problem. Especially around 4000 rpm, my car produces a lot of smoke. A friend told me the problem might occure at the injection system but he wasn't sure. So when i've found an settisfying solution, i will contact you again.

I also have a TD100SX, and yes the engine smokes around the 3500/4000 revs. I have been assured that the engine is a smokie one, and as such there is no real threat. Just go on and enjoy the car!

One tip that I do have is to allow the car to warm up for a minute before driving off. This gets the oil round the engine and saves on where and tear. Likewise allowing the engine to idle at the end of a journey lets it wind down.
