Fiat punto evo 2014 - Tail lamp cracks again and again without any external manual force. Tail lamp changed 3 times in 8 years (not because of accidents, just cracks).
Suspecting may be when exposed to sunlight for long duration.
Is anybody faced tail lamp crack issue?
any suggestions, tips..? (yes, trying to avoid/minimise keeping vehicle exposed to sunlight but inevitable many times )

Quite possible that its the sun and the heat. UV light will break down plastics even on cars designed to resist it. Heat will cause it to expand and contract. The metal of the car will expand and contract at a different rate to the plastic, so its likely if its sitting in the sun then the movment of the metal, plastic and as well as the heat and the sun will cause the plastic to break much quicker.

Probably keeping it out of the sun as much as possible will help, but beyond that there is probably not a lot you can do. Cars in india are obviously not made in Europe. You could try to obtain a set of European tail lights which might be made of more resistant, plastics to conform to our more stringent standards on materials and lighting, that's assuming in asian markets Fiat Cheaped out on material costs. If they didn't then you could have gone to a lot of expense for nothing.
