As we are seeing a lot of the old Tjet 120/150 manifolds cracking and reading a lot about the later manifolds being reinforced and with the flange cut outs to prevent cracking I’m looking to get one.

However there is so many different numbers I have seen, ones to fit the Garrett and others for IHI turbos. Want to know if these other numbers bolt straight on and turbo is positioned correctly or is there a slight difference?

Numbers I have found are:

55217497
55213777
55221553
55282011
55236503

I'd cut the existing (old style) manifold as is the (improved?) one, just to kinda release temperature stress as it seems to have fixed the crakings issue ...

BRs, Bernie.

Which version is safe exhaust mainfold m is OK 2014 abarth mainfold

Anyone have anything that can confirm any information on this? The little digging I have done have come up with so many revisions (or at least part numbers) of exhaust manifold it almost crazy!

As far as I can see 55236511 is a very late manifold design for the Abarth 500/595 with IHI turbo.

Any manifold will fit from Mito,500,Guilietta T-Jet engined cars. I bought a used one from a Abarth 500 and it fit fine. (Mine also had a VL38 on the end of it :p) Just look at the pictures and make sure you buy one where the manifold flange has cut outs as this is the revised version whereas the ones on the Grande Punto TJet are just solid flanges.
