I have a motorhome on a 2007 2.3 130mjet
I have come across a round black switch under the passenger seat behind a slotted panel where their right foot would be.
When you turn it it sounds like a current is switching on and off.

Not sure to what tho.

Any ideas?

Guessing, but leisure battery isolator maybe? Can't you trace wiring?

That can only be something the motorhome maker deemed necessary. Like rayc said, there is lock/release button for the styrofoam toolkit under the passenger seat.
The only standard electrical item there is an unused cable, probably for a seat belt alarm.

Leisure battery is what i was thinking but didnt want to fiddle. I'll try to post a photo.

Thats it. Tries to look behind but its pretty solid

Glad I was right. I helped marshall the 2012 Peterborough motorhome show which was plagued by torrential rain. I was very surprised how many owners did not know that the towing eye was, never mind where it was. We had to tell them where it was under the passenger seat and as for fitting it most had no idea.
