I fancy taking all the windows out of my old 1.4, which were just tinted in the summer there, and putting them into my newer bravo, which has had its tints in for several years. the work was flawless on the other car, so i'd like them all if its possible, apart from the front windshield of course.

In particular i'd like to swap the windows in the doors, as the old ones are a good bit lighter, and less likely to see me in trouble with VOSA

Anybody tried this, and is it a particularly difficult, or long job?

Had all my windows in my car OUT for respray...i paid someone £100 in total (which is cheap) to take them out and fit them again once i am finished...

Oh and you wont be able to do the rear one (spoiler)

I wouldnt do it my self as my work isnt insured and it can (and does) go wrong!!!

Just the door... this are removable (see haynes manual)....

If you mix and match the tints you will notice the difference in the film and would look a bit patch work imo...

(you still not sold your 1.4??)

still not sold it. not actually put it on the market properly though. will do now though, as the road tax runs out in a month
