Picture a dual carriageway. 2 lanes going east, 2 lanes going west - solid barrier between directions.
I was heading east, overtaking another car on a corner to find someone had got a bit confused and was in my lane heading straight at me.
I had no where to go, I saw the female passenger wave her arms as if to say no and then BOOM!, off went the airbag and it was game over for the Brava.
The third party had wife and baby in the car and was a local resident so should have known the road layout.
I went to hospital with suspected fractured nose and whiplash, whilst the third party joked about it at the scene and was fine.
The police wanted to prosecute the third party for 'driving without due care and attention' but the final result was a £60 course. Not the outcome I would have wanted. Only had the Brava 3 months so was gutted it got taken away from me. It was also the most expensive car I had bought (£3000 at the time all those years back).
Not a pleasant experience, but hey ho! One Bravo, Marea and Brava later I'm where I am now
