Ok, this is a bit out there but I am thinking of scaling down from the Brava. Yes I was saying about an HGT before but thinking about it, I'd prolly be happy with a 1.2! Performance not really an issue as I'm thinking the coop ticks that box.

Essentially what I'm aiming for is 3 doors :)

Anyone want 5 doors and would consider some sort of swap/exchange?!

1999 TD100 MK2. 55k ish miles on clock. Regularly serviced. Cambelt done last March. 2 blue, 1 red key. Alarmed. Black rear spoiler. Bodywork good, blah blah blah. MOT Nov. Tax due end of july but I'm aiming to renew if required. It's a known BOO car and I'm sure some of you know what I'm like with my precious motors :)

One thing I will say, I'm not really after a project car so is got to be a fairly good state to start with!

Oooft. 16MPG! :| and im moaning about 40 here, due to the current price of petrol. lol!

That brava looks stunning, you sure getting rid is the right thing to do? I'm sure someone will snap it off your hands tho.
Out of curiosity, what mpg are you getting with that being the diesel?

It really does fluctuate, but so does my driving. Taking it easy everywhere and being sensible will happily return low 40s. Be late for work and it'll drop to 33-34mpg.

Not the most fuel efficient for a diesel but I have to say its the most efficient drive I've experienced in a Bravo/a. Gears are nice and smooth, it sits on the motorway at any speed without showing any signs of instability or discomfort and it brakes very well. Tight and 'new-like' really.

For 100bhp it has some poke, ok won't outpace a Ferrari but it can pull when required!

it can more than 16mpg... but I don't seem to be able to do it very often!! lol

£10 gets you about 60miles I think... can got you only 30 tho also :)

You don't buy a 20vt for MPG, you have one for smiles and to be part of BOO :) :)

I'm guessing it's a no still tho ;) lol

I'd rather have a 1.4 Lawn-mower :) They're dreadful engines with a terrible reputation.

Doubtful, but Insy is the guy who'd be doing it with you :) (Or am I just speaking on his behalf? lol)

My bad :)

I had a 1.4 once.

Then a TD100...

Then a 1.2 16V

Then another 1.2 16V

Then I got bored :)

I agree.
50MPG, £120 to tax and the onboard computer says the rear brakes need replacing in 46,000 miles (yes, forty six thousand) - They were last replaced 30k ago. lol.

But honestly, slow as a donkey.

.. At least this is keeping Insy's thread alive, lol.

if only i had something to swap!

whoever gets the deal done will have done good, insy's motor is extremley tidy, well maintained and shifts aswell when needs be!

Andy_sx (dont fancy an alfa 155 thats a bit pink and has about 4% of the lacquor left on the roof do you ;) lol)

fancy a 20v weekend? :)

insy your brava looks great an knowing how much your first service was and what you had done im sure someone will be getting a great car! as already said are you sure you want to go down to three doors?

Thanks for the kind comments :)

Gaz: Thanks but sounds a bit too modded for me.
Kris: Thanks but the 1.4 is not an engine I'd consider.
Stephen: As much as I secretly admire the rat, its heading the wrong way in size for me :)
