I have a Fiat Bravo 1.8 hlx on a N plate (96).
About two years ago the front offside suspension coil spring literally exploded whilst i was just about to pull off my drive. After some wrangling Fiat paid for a new one which I fitted. The problem is that the new spring has a small green dot on it but all the other springs have a yellow dot on them. Apparently the bravo should have green dot springs as this is a lower more sporty spring but if this is the case then the wrong springs (yellow dot) were fitted at the factory. All the Fiat dealers that I have contacted state that the Bravo should have green dot springs. I have even contacted Italy to try and clear this matter up. Has any body got any thoughts/suggestions as I have to either change the green one or the three yellow ones.
