Technical Sunroof Switch Panel LED?

Just noticed the there is an l.e.d next to what I am guessing is a dusk sensor for the lights where the sunroof and cockpit light switches are. I checked it up on the Haynes, and it doesn't mention this, although it does show it, and it seems to be a smaller l.e.d than mine. Is there any way I could wire it to a constant feed, just as a security light, as it seems to flash only a few times once the little button is pressed? Any ideas?

I think that lil Dome your reffering to as a Dusk sensor is the standard Tipo Remote centrol locking reciver.

As for the L.E.D I don't know what it does but I think in my Tipo its always on, can't check to see its status at the moment cause I got a low battery
