Technical Sunroof replacement

Hi.. I'm planning to replace the sunroof on my 500F and was wondering if anyone could share info about the tiny bolts that hold down the read metal strap.. I can see they studs are bolted down by what I think is a 6mm bolt, but since I need to buy one I wanted to confirm the size..
Also any videos showing tips & tricks would be most welcome.

The bar that goes along the back of the sun-roof and holds is indeed held onto the roof by studs attached to the bar, but I think that they are smaller than 6mm) The easy way to fit the nuts onto the little studs is to use a deep socket with a 'spacer' under the nut to lift the nut up in the socket. At the end of the bar, the usual securing 'device' was a self-tap screw (one each end). This a good source of rust, so the better system is to fit a small "riv-nut" instead (possibly only 5mm--it has been some years since I had to re-fit mine) I then put sealer between the area of the "riv-nut" and the bar

Thanks.. I tried a 5mm socket & it just spun round but I suspect it was because it wasn't long enough.. Guess I may have to visit local hardware store in the hope that they have small sockets to try.. I'll take a look at the riv-nut too..

If you have a local (ish) Halfords, they have a good range of long sockets at very sensible prices.
