Technical Stutter on deceleration

2014 Pop 96000mls, regularly serviced. Car averages 51.4 mpg and runs well.
Problem….EML popped on all of a sudden. Car runs well then it goes out. Runs for a few weeks then pops on again.
I’ve notice a slight stutter when I lift foot off the accelerator sometimes. Other than that all is good
Any idea what could be causing the stutter. It’s almost like something needs cleaned.

If the EML has been on then there should be a fault code stored, get it code read and it should give you some clues. A slight stutter could be numerous things and it’d just be guess work
