General Strut question

My g/f's toyota has a knackered shocker and is about to be sent to scrappers before the MOT is due in a few weeks. Will it be ok to drive about for a couple of weeks more given that the shocker is faulty? Its making a slight noise but is driveable.

Sure KYB do them and not too expensive.

oko, i shall just assume, it worths nothing .

On a side note, is a local ad in ma newspaper that says they are paying aminium of £60 to get the car off you, so might worth trying to phone around and get something for it.

quite a rare Corrolla Estate 2ltr diesel. Engine is great, but will fail MOT on various other things. Its around 11 y/o. Its the n/s rear strut thats almost gone, not the front one. Should be ok to drive for next 14 days or so hopefully.
