Technical strange not starting problem

since before the crash, upon first start of the day, sometimes it wont strat no matter how long i keep it turning over, but if it turn it back and try again it starts no problems no noises...then subsequently (sp) throughout the day it will start first time every time unless i leave it for more than about 8 hours.....

anyone got some wisdom for me?

crank on the way out? but could be many many other things.. scan for codes?

what do you mean by crank on the way out??

it turns over every time very healthily....

ahh but it is due a service in about a month....could this cause any problems?

ill give it a scan, gonna be fitting cruise control today

i was referring to the crank sensor.. but it would stall if that were the case.. perhaps cam? but that would also give you an error! this is a very hard one (in the sense that you would probably need help from someone more knowledgeable than me as, unless you can give me some error codes, it will not be an easy diagnose)

Do you wait until the word "CHECKING" goes out? On the first start for a while there's a lot more checking to do and it won't let you start until it's done it all. As soon as the word CHECKING goes out, then turn to start and see if that makes a difference

havnt tried that but will give it a go....oh and yesterday started the car, it started cut out straight away and EML came on, then i started it, started fine, no rough running or anything....need ot get the code reader on it, then sort the creaks THEN i can try to get cruise controll to work.....

but a more pressing issue, im in south london car is in north, i 4got my wallet in my car, oyster had enough on it for one journey its now at -10p, online topups take effect after one workign day, how the hell do i get home!!

ok, if i wait for the checks it will start just fine....but it sometimes makes a noise as iff the starter motor is still engaged after the car has started? (im not still turning the key)
