Strange noises after clutch replaced

Got my clutch replaced about a month ago... since then there is a screech from one of the belts as it turns... it tends to die off as the engine heats up...

I brought it back to mechanic who said that this problem would settle and go away eventually.

Anyone ever had this problem before after clutch replaced???

They dont touch the belts when they do a clutch change, they take off the gear box.
