stilo stop lamp failure

Hi i have a stilo dynamic 1.9jtd. I had the normal problem with the passenger seat airbag so took it to a fiat specialist who fixed the problem. He changed the seat pad and now its fine. But when i collected the car today there was a new warning light on instead. It said there is a Brake Lamp Failure and the orange triangle on the dashboard comes on. Also on the lcd display a little spanner has appeared. The garage said it was nothing to do with them and to drive it to see if the problem goes away. The brake lights are working fine and all the other lights are working fine but it still has the brake Lamp failure warning when i start the car. Please Help..........Advice needed. The garage plugged the car into to a diagnotics machine but it could not clear the fault.

Hi car has now changed syptoms. The warning light is still on but now it says that two bulbs have failed and when you put the side lights on the brake light comes on as well and when you switch the side lights off they dont always go off straight away. any help would be appreciated
