Possibly someone has tried the update procedure incorrectly and destroyed the CN+.

I don't know of any other way to resume the procedure except what I posted in the instructions (3, 4, 5, 6, "TEL").

No... they are the only instructions for updating the CN+ firmware.

Please do not use all capital letters. It means you are shouting.

Yes... I've used the files on about 20 CN+s for my own and other people's units.

The v11.0 firmware has been downloaded 450 times, and the setup file 508 times. I don't recall anyone else having a problem that wasn't as a result of them using the files incorrectly.

Check that you have the correct files on the v11.0 disc. The file names, dates and sizes should be as below.

The flasher program will be looking for files with the exact names I posted above, so it will not find NIT_SH4. I must be NIT_SH4.ZIP

Downloading the file from the downloads section gives you CN11.RAR
Unzip that with WinRar gives you an image file named CN11.ISO
Use ImgBurn to burn a CD from that image file.

I've just gone through this process and the CD burns with NIT_SH4.ZIP not NIT_SH4

I already did it with imgburn and yesterday i did it with nero but the result is the same (nit_sh4 created i/o .zip). this is really strange because all steps that i follow is the same what you mention above

I don't know what else to suggest.

Ask a friend to download the file and make the disc on a different computer perhaps???

Not sure if this will work, but worth a try.

  1. Copy the 14 files on the CD to a folder on your computer.
  2. Rename the file NIT_SH4 to NIT_SH4.ZIP
  3. Burn the 14 files to a new CD.
If you only want to change the date to after 2010. Set the date to 31st December 2010 and the time to 23:59 then wait for the year to change
