General stilo back doors grinding noise

Hey wondering if anyone else has this horrible grinding noise coming from the back doors on your stilo have you ever, stopped it? I've tried General use oil and vasaline on the joints and that only stops the noise for about a week I had this problem on my old punto mk2 never really sorted that but wasn't as loud as on this stilo

Btw vasaline worked better and longer than the general oil

Is this a general fiat problem? my old boss had a punto and hers did the same again only on the back doors

Any one able to help?

basically lack of use and lubrication, you can try grease or oil or copperslip but chances are at this stage they are past it. Only cure is new check straps (£8)

There's a 'how to' on fitting new check straps in the 'Guides' section...

It's a little rolling wheel that's stopped rolling - basically grinding instead. You can't get to it unless you completely open up the door trim. Grease it with some industrial grease.
