It's something to do with models equipped with "keyless go" I think it's called. I don't know much about it or if it's even available here. Hopefully someone else might know more.
thanks! Never got a lv key, just a standard key and no start button anywhere!!? Does that mean its not equipped? Just equipped with the wrong interior?
It doesn't charge the keyless entry (EasyGo) fob, just provides it with enough power to start the car via an induction loop. There's nothing to hold the fob there, so it would fall off if left there to charge while driving.

All Stilos, whether equipped with "EasyGo" or not, have the symbol under the handbrake lever. The start button would be in the small recess to the left of the steering wheel on equipped cars.
