General stilo abarth power

General stilo abarth power

by telling the ecu, you mean remap, or examiner connection? not something i could do with my obd reader and laptop?

probably not, and yeah think a remap would be involved to move the power band, their was a vid on you tube of an abarth at 7200rpm:yum::yum:

think pete's your man for this(y)

Whats the new developments with the gsr induction then?

Theres too much to read over on performance stilo.co.uk

I still have my original yellow induction with the original remap. Is there now a better remap available, or is there been mods to the design of the induction hose?

the induction kit has been re-modelled for the ones that are having the engine light issues, the change involves making the kit go thin just before the MAF as to reduce the volume of air and in turn stop the engine light, but not slow the air flow, just disrupt it(y)

it works:slayer:

That's interesting. That should actually increase the air-flow over the sensor (like a river when it narrows).

Based on what many have posted would seem the JTD kit has the same problem :chin:

well slow the flow, if you see what i mean, so its not getting swamped with air and get a reading, more concentrated if you like;).

pretty sure the jtd has the same problem, iv not got the new kit, but tightened a jubilee clip round under the maf instead, looks ugly but has the same effect, and low and behold, that worked too.

this is only for people that are having the engine light problems though, if your not, then there is no point changing(y)

Does it still keep its increased HP and torque with the new modification though? Ie rolling road before and after mod? Seeing as the airflow is reduced and all.
