stilo 1.9 jtd cutting out

Hi every one, i am new to this forum and not sure what i should be doing but i need help with my 2004 stilo 1.9 jtd that starts, runs for 10 seconds then cuts out. If i leave the car for about an hour it does the same again. it has done about 35,000 miles and has full service history. can anyone help please?
