Technical Sticky throttle

On the throttle issue, have you looked inside the throttle body? Dirt, even a small mount of sticky oil, inside can jam the butterfy open. I've seen this a couple of times, one in very dusty conditions and the other with a diry breather. You could also disconnect the kickdown cable just to rule it out.

Silly question.

You say it's cured itself now.

What was the temperature and weather like when it stuck?

I'm thinking some ice might have got in there.

Have you checked your Hedgehogs?

I've checked the Hedgehog, it was fine...... that's the little one my wife rescued a couple of months back and fed up to a decent weight before release. ;)

Seriously, think it's ok in that respect.

I'm thinking it could have been temperature related, not necessarily ice, but just an extreme temperature on the sensors.

I've had a look at the butterfly, it all seems clean enough, air filter is all in place, though it does need replacing, they weren't in stock when I got the plugs and leads.
