I bought my Grande Punto on a cold day and all looked good, however since its got warmer and I've paid more attention to the car I've noticed that there is a huge amount of glare off the dash and its very sticky. Not residue, more that the plastic is breaking down.
After trying lots of different things I have found the following fix I'd like to share. Obviously try this at your own risk and try on an inconspicuous area first.
What I used was cream cleaner (like CIF), scouring pads and a few packs of wet wipes.
I put the cream cleaner on the dash and rubbed it down on the main sticky spots with the scouring pad, I then used the wet wipes to repeatably rub the are over until there was little black/residue coming off onto the wet wipes.
Once dry then the stickiness had gone, it is really time consuming to do and you'll have to repeat it where you miss areas, but was really pleased that its resolved one of the issues that was bugging me with the car.
Good luck!
