I have just bought a set of these...HOW DO YOU USE THEM!?! lol! cheers, Tom

They slot into either side of the stereo. You should see two holes or slots.

Push them right in until they click/snap into place.

Then simply pull them back out and the headunit should come with them and come out far enough for you to pull it free of the dash.

Thanks, will be trying again tommorow, going out now! I obviously just didn't push them in far enough, do the keys ever come back out of the stereo after doing this? lol! Tom

sometime. You just gotta play around a bit with it to get the headunit to come out at the sametime as you pull the tools back out. Practice makes perfect in this case lol

How do the plugs come out of the back, the bottom one came out easy but the top plug is nearly impossible to get out anyone got any advice for this.

You are meaning the connectors at the back of the headunit???

I am guessing your talking about the one that has a small catch on it. Look at the side of the connector. there's a small catch that you need to press and hold in when you pull the connector from the headunit. It caught me out as well the first time I tried to remove the unit

Its strange coz the bottom one i pushed the little pin thingy in and pulled and it came out but the top one which has a black thingy above it just wont come out i'll tried to hold the pin and and pull it out but its nearly impossible. I'm gonna take my screw driver to it soon damn thing.

Chuck a photo up so we can see what you're on about. It should be pretty simple to remove. Maybe you didn't press the tab hard enough?

dito! The big black one simply slots out. The other's, as you discovered have a small catch but you've done that.
