Hi i have a Fiat Ulysse 2.0 jtd and the Clarion cd player has packed up so i have got a Sony player as a replacement. All went fine with the fitting except the constant live wire ( yellow ) only stays live for about 1 Min then you hear a click from the steering column and the live wire is not live any more thus i keep losing any presets on the cd player. I never had this problem with the clarion player but if i was listening to it without the ignition on it would play for about 5 min then go off with a message on the Ulysse display which said something like power save mode and would not allow you to switch it back on without the ignition on.What i am trying to get at is is there a power save mode on this car and if so can i override it or do i need to find a constant live and rewire the radio with that.
