Technical stereo via ingnition

Hello,

Can anyone tell me where I can find the closest plus cable which is powered via the ignition?

Currently my stereo is wired to the accu (continious plus) and cigarette lighter (switched plus). Only thing is the cigarette lighter is switched through the lights, so light off = stereo off. I want to switch the stereo via the ignition directly. So where can I find the cable which is switched via the ingnition closest to the stereo.

Not sure if it applies completely to a Punto, but I think there's a guide in the Guides in the Cinquecento/Seicento section. Should be remarkably close.

tried this and it didnt work, must be some other wire than blue-yellow

I'll find the right one by "trial and error". If the car doesn't burn down first Hahahahaha

multimeter, just measure each one for volts with and without ignition - one will be a switched live.

it appears that blue-yellow wire is the right one but cant seem to find the correct one on stereo, tried red and yellow and it doesnt work

Found a nearer source. The cluster knobs for the rear window heater. The grey/blue wire is a plus via the ignition. Needed only 10 cm wire to extend to the stereo...


Finally the stereo direct via ignition... Me is happy now.
