grande punto sporting with blaupunkt head,button which allows movement of bass treble left right ect only half works menu button u/s and vol on steering wheel u/s ,i presume the head unit is at fault although all other functions are ok,is it a repairable item???

Your best bet would be to get to a scrappy mate. The cost difference will be negligible and then you wont be without a HU for a while.
