Hi guys, got a problem.
My car was idling a bit rough a week or so back so I decided to take the throttle body off and give it a clean as it was filthy. Once refitted the car has decided it doesn't want to start without me revving the engine.
I've tried opening the stepper motor but the heads are rounded and I cannot for the life of me get them off!
If, however, I start the car with the stepper motor plugged in the car starts first time (all be it with higher revs). It also starts straight away with no throttle body attached (sounds awesome too!).
Does it sound like my stepper motor has had it?
Oh and it's a 2000 plate 1.2
Cheers guys (and gals).
