Technical Steering Wheel's Multifunction Help!

am new here, i have a problem in the steering wheel's multifunction it doesnt respond normaly after doing a car care yesterday with a stupid worker he washed the steering wheel with a sponge and i tried the air pump and i want to take off the multifunction keys and clean them with a tissue and i dont know how to take them off!! anyone could help?

The buttons should just pop off, get a thin object like a flat head screwdriver in the gap and prize if off.
Just be careful.
