Please can you advise me. I have my 2003 Palio 1.6 EL for 18 months now and there's a steering rack leak. I know this because because the agents say so and since they don't do recons, it will cost me ZAR5500 (about #500). Is this really how much it costs? The leak is very small, maybe it just needs a sealant of some kind. I need to fill up power steering fluid every couple of months. The boot seems fine, the leak appears to be at the edge of the boot where its clamped to the rack. Any advice on how I can fix this without costing me a fortune.
