General Steering fluid loss

Morning Campers,

Driving back from peak district noticed steering very stiff, I pulled over and checked fluid reservior and it had dropped, also bubbles coming up. Anyway made it back home,had a look underneath to see two metal pipes running left to right both badly corroded, one was leaking fluid. Are these easy to change or would I be better taking to garage.Any suggestions much appreciated.

Hi,

I'm in process of getting the two power steering pipes that run to rack off to replace. They are very tight, I have managed to undo the two on top of rack. Just need to undo the two that are close together on block above rack.Any tips on how to loosen seized bolts ect. The vehicle is a Ducato 1.9TD. I'm using plusgas to help but it's a slow process.
