i have had my punto mk 1 for just under a year now and i have done the basics, and i am just about to leave school and get a full time job and i was wondering (needing peoples views) if i should put more money into my punto or get a different car, its only a 1.2 and was going to get a 1.6 stilo. shall i change my car or get a new one.? tricky question i know.

i'd say keep it for a couple more years and enjoy the work you've put into the car
Do you travel far to/ with work or otherwise? If it's a short drive, hang onto the Punto and save some money. If it's further, trade up and enjoy the comfort 
na i only go to work and school which are both across the road to my house. i might just keep it then, but the idea of a nice stilo is very appealing you know.

I'd check the cost of the insurance. I found a 1.2 Stilo was much cheaper to insure than a Punto. If this is the case for you I would be tempted by the Stilo. The 1.2 isn't that bad honestly and is much more refined than the 1.2 in a Punto.
thats cos its the 1.2 8v in the punto, and 16v super fire in the stilo (also found in punto, but usually only a 5spd, unless its a mk2a sporting or someother name aswell gets teh 6spd).
