Hi all, I've not been on for a while as unfortunately my beloved Ulysse ended up on it's roof!.

Anyhow, I have been searching ebay for a replacement and have found one for spares or repairs with a starting problem. The person that owns it drove to work fine, but when he finished work he jumped in the car to drive home and it wouldn't start. He called the AA and they managed to start it but it cut out again before he made it home. He was lead to believe that the fuel filter was the cause so changed it. The car started fine afterwards but now will not start again. I am going over to see the car tomorrow and was just wondering if anyone had any ideas what the problem might be?

Thanks in advance

Scotty

I'd take a can of switch cleaner and spray it on the multiplugs of the engine management ecu and the bottom one of the fuse box on the n/s wing.

Did you get to keep your flipped ulysse? It would be a great source for parts to get the other going.

Unfortunately they wouldn't let me buy it back off the insurance.

The one your looking at is only about 30 miles from me, might have the bits you need off my c8 to get it going if you want to pop to Cleethorpes too.

We are planning to go over tonight and tow it back. Think it might be a bit of a trek and too much with all the kids with us to call at Cleethorpes. Although we are planning to go back to skegness on saturday so might be able to arrange for over the weekend if you are about?.

Scotty.
