General starting problem

Please help i have a 2003 2.0 eleganza diesel, the car will not start off the key (hot or cold) but if it is bumped off it will start within a few feet, I would be greatful if anyone could help thanks andy :bang::bang::bang:

Does it turn, either slow or fast?

Try some jump leads or better still a new battery.
