My starter motor has packed up. What manufacturer should I buy? And are there any manufacturers to avoid? As there is a variation of prices.

Personally I would buy one from a local motor factor that the trade use, so if any issues it can be slung back, also less likely to supply rubbish as the word would soon get around.
Having said that, many on forum use Coastal?
