another emma stylee question for ye

Wot are them sticks of sugar called that you can get in starbucks/costa coffee? they are on a wooden stick and have like crystalised sugar on the end, you stir them into your coffee.
Ive done a search for sugar sticks and its not come up with them, so they must be called somethin else
Oh and if anyone knows of a place to buy them besides in the coffee shop (as thye not cheap)

Had a looksie at your links Dave and found them very interesting, didnt know thats how they were made!

I need between 50 and 100 of them so dont think i be able to make that many, looks like that many going to cost almost £30 So's mission abandoned

no alcohol coz it a traditional english tea party, ie tea and cakes:yum:

re an invite Tom; we aint got space to invite our mates we've invited family members only and total count came to 60 thats a full house for us!, considered hireing a hall so's we could invite mates aswell but decided it wasnt the look i was after
