Hi all

I see lots of threads especially in the Dualogic thread about what values on MultiECUScan "should" be when troubleshooting a problem. From that it occurs to me that someone probably needs to post values from a healthy car for people experiencing technical problems to compare to, so I am dumping them all in this thread to help people in the future.

This data originates from a petrol Fiat 500 312 from year 2011, which has covered approximately 75,000 miles. It has the five-speed gearbox (C514.5) with Dualogic actuator (CFC328). The car was in neutral and had been idling for a short time when these measurements were taken. This car has never had any service carried out on the transmission, and has never had any major work carried out on the engine (just lambda sensors and bits like that). It has never exhibited any symptoms of transmission problems. It was thoroughly serviced about a year ago (new spark plugs, timing belt, coolant, water pump etc etc). The battery was replaced two months ago. Note some data output has been translated from Czech to English.

Interesting to note that the clutch wear index is so low considering the mileage. Some say the Dualogic actuator thrashes the clutch harder than a manual but it doesn't look like this is actually the case.

Hope this helps someone.

Hi

I¡m a FIAT500 owner (second hand) from Spain. I bought the car with 122.000 km and the day after the car stop changing ....after 2 months in the FIAT they changed thr robot and the clutch.....more tham 4000 euros. After that i have become a dualogic specialist reading all documents, seeing all videos and attending to courses. I have seen the list of parameters that you send and i have found it very interesting. It is strange the degradation index of around 3000. It seems that the data has been reinitiated to 3000 (the value for new clutch kit).

I would be very interesting for me if you could send the list of parameters recorded now, after 2 years to see the evolution. could it be possible?

Thanks in advance

Juan Ramon

Hiya, just saw this, the car is down for failed MOT at the mo but if you still need these values I can rerun the test in a few days. Cheers

Yes please, it would be very interesting for me.

Hello

Just been and got these - the car was sat in idle and I put it in N, R and 1st. It's not changed much since the original post, I replaced the coil pack and leads last week due to misfires caused by corrosion on the leads but that's about it. It has covered about 9300 miles since the last readings.

I plan to get readings for all gears while in motion at some point (it's actually my partner's car so relies on her being available!).

Cheers

Many thanks

I found it very interesting. The readings confirms something that i heard during a dualogic course that i did. In the course they explained it for the CfC319 and i have confirmed that for the CFC328 is the same. They explained that when idling with car stopped, it is better for the clutch/gearbox to be in 1 or R than in N.

when idling in N you may think that the clutch is closed (like clutch pedal full released). "Pressure plate travel: aprox 18. But this is not the case, if you see the parameter "clutch pressure plate travel" you can see 11,359 that is fully open (like clutch pedal fully pressed).

When idling in 1 or R the clutch is not fully open 11,877, is like the clutch pedal would be a little released (but without sliping) like "waiting to start moving".

That is why, idling stopped, the clutch actuator suffers less in 1 or R than in N. Because in N, the clutch is fully open (clutch pedal fully pressed) and in 1 or R is less opened without clutch sliping (clutch pedal a little released).

When the car is stopped, the clutch is only closed (like clutch pedal fully released) when the engine is off (0 rpm)
