Spraying your own spolier??? Recommened?!

Hi,

My local (local being 45 miles away) Fiat dealer is currently offering 40% off spoilers - and they have ones for the Bravo for 115.00 including the glass bonding kit to attach to rear window.

Only thing is it does not come sprayed... it comes in the standard black plastic.

I've got a spray can, primer and lacquer for my colour.... is it recommended to spray it yourself? Fiat offered to spray it but for 60 quid.
I've sprayed things before and I've never found any problems.

Any thoughts?
