I was doing a search for expired listings and spotted this!
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Cars/Fiat/auction-51714814.htm
I'm actually really touched that it's still looking so good. Attached is a photo from, obviously, 17 June 2001. The 14" wheels were a temporary fitment before I put the 128 Coupe wheels on.
The person I sold it to lived somewhere near Tauranga, so I think it's the same owner. That's 17% depreciation over five years - can't get much less depreciation than that! It appears to have done 40,000km since then as well.
We don't want to discuss here how much I bought the car for, mind
Just gives further credence to Chas' statement, "Old Unos never die, they just get upgraded". By the way, when I sold it, those wheels were metallic blue
I think someone decided they were just a bit too OTT, but I see that the instrument cluster top has survived...
Of course, if the new owner sees this post, please get in touch
Cheers,
-Alex
