SPOTTED: "Heraldic" blue Bravo with kit on and pink Playboy stickers - Northwich Mon 8.15

Was this you? Was sat at the traffic lights (in my Cooper S) before Northwich (I was heading for Northwich) and blue Bravo was waiting at the lights to turn!

Very nice anyway - the Playboy stickers weren't too much neither - you get away with them!!

Sure I've seen it anyway but just thought I'd say hello!

Ive got 2 heraldic blue bravos in northwich but neither have playboy stickers on!

But I have seen the one you are on about, I think Ive seen a women drivin it about 30-40ish.

Straying off topic a bit, You have a Cooper S??!! Is it a good car? Was thinking of getting one myself after the Bravo dies!

my cus has one, and has had loads of engine work done to it, including new engine, smaller supercharger belt, induction kit, high lift cam, oil filter, intercooler, some other stuff too but unsure what, and is now nocking on the door of 300bhp, it is fast as FUUK!

Yeah mate got a Cooper S... Dark Silver convertible with Chili (Xenons with wash, full Sports Leather, AC, Slip Diff, leather arm rest, chrome line interior, spot lights etc) It's an unbelievable car, I honestly can't see how anyone wouldn't want one - everyone should own a Mini Cooper S lol!!

Loved my Bravo but it's in a different league (as you'd expect)

I really don't like the new shape though - I think it's too big and it's ugly and speaking with the Mini dealers none of them like them compared to the mk1 2nd Gen.

You got an idea of which colour etc you'd go for?

My first choice would be Indy Blue, but also like the Dark silver. Has to have the white roof and mirror caps and possibly the bonet stripes, just like the original!

Yeah not to keen on the new version either, but isn't the new cooper s with a turbo charger? Faster? Although it's quick as it is! Probably would settle with the mk1 on my budget!

Yeah the new cooper s is turbocharged and it has a kickdown function where if you floor it it gives you 250lb/ft of torque or something stupid for a few seconds.

My girlfriends got a 53reg cooper s with chilli and although im too big for it i do love driving it. Have you had any problems with the run-flat warning light? very tempremental

Yeah that's the beauty of it, you can have whatever you like - you don't often see too many Mini's that are the same, everyone has the little differences. I've always liked the black roof and black bonnet stripes look, but there's a lad near me who has the white combo - looks really smart! the GP is a white roof also which looks class!

The new one is a Turbo as opposed to a Supercharger yeah, higher off the ground so it's lost it's "go-kart" feel - which has taken away a lot of it's character. in terms of power, i believe the new turbo is point 1 of a second quicker 0-60 (7.1 as opposed to 7.2) and has 1 bhp more (175bhp as opposed to 174bhp)

i have heard what it sounds like though and it does sound beefy as, but there's no wine from the Supercharger which is half of the fun! Sounds and feels like it is going to take off, apart from the key fact that it is absolutely glued to the road

I have had my warning light on yes, and it was a puncture in my front nearside runflat... £135 to replace as it could not be repaired so I have already fallen out with runflat tyres!

I'm looking to get some 18's on soon anyway so will be avoiding runflats in future!!
