hi there does any body know where i can get spotlights for my 500 as i do alot of nighttime driving woul like the ones on the RT3 ABARTH 500 can anybody help please.

IS there another way as i am trying to see if theres a fixing to fit spotlights to on the bumper

Not to be funny but do you REALLY need spotlights? I drive through some rural roads and during this years winter it was bloody dark but you just use the highbeams. I could be wrong but I don't think it's legal to drive with spotlights on and at the very least it's not very considerate when there are other cars around.

Nothing illegal about spotlights you'd only use them with full beam anyway, but should not be neccessary on a modern car.

To fit them properly they either need to be part of the Bumper, or on a seperate bar. Make sure they're wired to a seperate switch, with a relay, so you can have full beam with or without them, and also when you dip the lights when driving the spotlights go out as well.

I fitted £30 Ring Rally Giants on my 205 for doing 12 car rallies and they are pretty good! Especially when I fit 110W bulbs when i'm off the road....

Not the best quality but for the money they're great!

True :) But we have to acknowledge that there are other cars around ;)

The 500 may have an enthusiast following, but 99% of owners aren't car enthusiasts. They have no interest in cars other than the 500 and that's fine. I have laptop and I visit a forum when i need advice on upgrading or maintaining it... i have very little interest in computers other than the one I own though.

Of course, but that doesn't change the fact that for me it's nice to see people who are interested in cars and not just 500's

I assumed you were taking a pop at other members for being narrow minded or thinking 500s are the be all and end all :) I'm sorry if you weren't, i've spent too much time browsing VW forums.

Tbh that's pretty much what I was doing. Being a 500 owner I do like the 500 of course, but I'm realistic about the car :)
