What RPM does your turbo spool from?

I tried to work it out in the 130 today but couldn't hear the turbo. What I did notice is that the acceleration is strong and constant from just after 1500rpm right up till when I decided finding the limiter was a bad idea.

5th pulls hard from 40 right up to... well.. 12 points and a court appearance. :D

Fitted a new air mass & it seems to be improving day by day.
I think the actuator on the turbo is a bit lslow to react , I read on another forum that these can get stuck as a lot of dirt gets in there plus if the car has not been driven hard it can get lazy.

I was wondering, would a reset be a good idea?

If so how do I go about this, is it just disconnect the battery for awhile or is there more to it.

Remapped young Bulldog ?? you mean re ampped & a tuning box instaled & K&N cone.

Well its going really well just now so I'll leave the reset as I am not sure if the radio has a code .....if it has I do not have it!!

never heard of "re ampped"

but if you have a tuning box then you obviously havent remapped the ecu, you've taken the cheaper option.

I have not actually taken the cheaper option you assume to quickly , I have had the ECU remapped albeit a rubbish job,but thats another story ,I should have gone to Angel or Celtic.

But the Tuning box overlaps quite well as the fuel trims when remapped were not altered, the tuning box extends the duration of the injectors.

The torque was upped on the remap(ECU) + it is also had the Fuel pressure increased by 2% ,so it all works very well after a peculiar route admittedly ,but the end result is a very quick (for a diesel) car.

Oh & I'll apologise now for all future spelling or any gramatical errors in the near or distant future incase i confuse you again, (pedantic)......... who said that of someone so young:rolleyes:
