I have been using an app on my phone recently and noticed that the speedo is over estimating the actual speed of the car. For example when car says it is doing 60mph it is actually only doing 55. I have used the app in other cars and has been bang on pretty much so ruled out the app being wrong. Wheels and tyres are all correct fitment for the car as well. Just wondered if anyone else had noticed this and i suppose if i am being picky will need to get the speedo recalibrated.

It's common, mine is the same. In the UK the law says the speedo must never read lower than actual but can read 110% of actual + 6.25mph higher. So the manufacturers calibrate on the high side.
