Hi My partner has a Fiat Brava 1.8SX Y reg the engine management light came on she called the R.A.C who reset it and told her it was the speed sensor the light remand off for about 2 months just come back on M.O.T on Wednesday where is the sensor and how easy is it to replace many thanks.

What are you looking for exactly? What other symptoms are there?
There is a engine RPM sensor (Crank sensor) thats in the engine block under the startermotor on the flywheel side. (easy to change)
There is a camshaft sensor thats near the inlet camshaft near the cam side of the engine (hard to change)
and there is a speedometer sensor that gives a speed reading to your dashboard. That is ontop of the gearbox closer to the firewall than the front of the car. (Easy to change)
