Hi folks. I've inherited an old Sony DCR-TRV145E that I've never used. My problem is that no picture is shown in the viewfinder or on the LCD screen when in record or playback mode. I can get audio, but no video. Yes, the lenscap is off
.
Occassionally, the blank displays will show very faint horizontal bands of static or more prominent horizontal white bands. This will be very intermittent and will only last for a second or so. I've downloaded the manual for it, but it doesn't mention this problem. The only thing I can think of is that there's probably some kind of ribbon cable between the lens and the camera 'workings' that could be faulty???
