Hmm this reminds me of when my computer brakes down – making too many changes at once… My housemate used to laugh at me… tell me to do finish and check one alteration before moving on to the next… then ha sorted it out LOL. As Steve C said – there are lessons to be learned…

Have you tried the fingertip stalk trigger to activate it – silly design – should really only trigger rear washer, but dose both in the 2 MK2 Unos I’ve been in.
Have you checked the Fuse?
Do you know if you are getting 12V to the wiper motor when you should?
Did you clean the copper contacts on the buttons before you replaced them?
Long shot – perhaps the LHD Uno’s buttons are laid out in mirror to RHD – I could ask on Dutch forum if all else fails…
