Solar eclipse

I got a very quick view of the moon in front of the sun on my drive in this morning but true to form by the time I got to work it had clouded over again. I'd say about a quarter of the sun was obscured when I saw it.

Anyone else catching a glimpse of the eclipse?

Don't forget you shouldn't look directly at the sun

I watched it... looking straight at it with no eye protection... cos im 'ard like that!

Missed the best of it as I was working but apparently some staff at the Rowett were outside watching it through welder's glass. they got a pretty good view as the clouds had shifted again

Got some photos on my phone as I was working in the car park, photo's aren't brilliant but it was rather cloudy in Ayr.
