...I finally got around to taking the wheels off to see what state the front brakes are in as knew they were an advisory on the cars mot... Looks like no one has been near them in a while and both bolts at the drivers side caliper were rounded off. Wasted a 16mm chapping it on to get one bolt off before realising the other was the same, Good news is a friend will be able to get the bolts out with a tool new brake discs and pads are sitting waiting (I'd rather change them than clean up the existing discs)..bad news? Well the state of things speaks for itself haha..Doesn't look like the car was maintained as well as any car I've owned before. Guess it's a good thing I didn't pay much for it.
