Technical Snag with timing belt change

We have a 2005 Fiat Ducato 2.8jtd, about to change the timing belt but cannot get the 15mm headed bolt loosened that goes through the alternator body which secures it to the bracket. any tips please?

I suspect once the securing nut is loose and releasing oil is applied, maybe with a little gentle gentle tapping to release any corrosion should shift it.
