Hi i have a slow start problem fiat ducato 2.3 2006,on startup after lying idle overnight it takes a bit of cranking, once started if I leave it for a minute or so it cranks and fires straight away.
I'm guessing fuel pump check valve, pressure regulator or an injector leak, and rail pressure is not holding, any thoughts on how to find which without changing everything I could start by changing the cheapest first but that would still be expensive

Cheap test. Try measuring "leak off" from all injectors and comparing in case one or two starting to fail.
